Mr. Roger Harley is a registered sex offender in Colorado. He was convicted in 2001 of possession of Child Pornography for distribution. Mr. Harley claimed he was being set up by a student named Brad Ross. Mr. Ross apparently was investigated and nothing was proven but there was an email owned by Mr. Harley which could not be verified (it was printed out only) which said "I'm gonna git you sucker." and was signed Gilgamesh (which according to Mr. Harley was a hacker name for Mr. Ross). There was no further investigation as there was child pornography on the office machine of Mr. Harley and he was subsequently fired from Arvada High School and pled to the possession charge which resulted in 250 hours of community service and counseling.
Recently, an anonymous tip was sent to the Powder Bluff High School security office that claimed Mr. Harley was again in possession of child pornography. Security officers seized Mr. Harley's desktop and his laptop but nothing was found except basic school related materials. When they were searching through his laptop bag, they found a USB stick. Mr. Harley claimed his blackberry was lost only a day ago and dialing the number only reached voicemail. It was not clear how a registered sex offender obtained a teaching job at PBHS.
You have been retained by the Powder Bluff PD to investigate the USB stick. In particular, you are asked to evaluate whether or not there appears to be any reason to belive a person named Bradley Ross or Gilgamesh might have been involved in the case as this might lead to warrants against Mr. Ross.
