This course revolves around both discussion of materials from the CEH as well as practical implementation of PEN Tests for students in CIS 380. There will be 5 teams of individuals in this class. Teams will plan and execute tests on systems within CIS 421 as well as commercial clients in CIS 380 who will contract with you (NO REAL MONEY IS INVOLVED) to develop examinations and audits of their commercial systems. Those students may also arrange for you to develop defensive strategies and hardening of their machines in conjunction with contracts on which they are working.
