Course Description:

Students will study networking and TCP/IP networks.  The course covers the components and approaches to managing modern networks from the systems administrator's perspective.  In addition, students will research and analyze networking problems at both the micro and macro level.

Course assumes you have had basic hardware and understand fundamentals of Win and Linux OS (per CIS 100). Tools used will be in server command line ubuntu. You can do most of this on your own machine with vmware or linux.
