CISSP is an international certification provided by ISC2. It is widely respected and is very valuable to hold. Some have compared it to the CPA or Law Certifications. The main focus of the CISSP is on corporate security from many different perspectives and leads to careers in audits, assessments, security controls, network security, etc. This course represents a derivative of this curriculum adapted for undergraduates with focus on discussion of these ideas as they apply to companies and IT professionals working with security.
