This course has two exams, a midterm and a final. The midterm will be held approxmiately in week 8 the semester. The final will be held at the scheduled time by the university. Students who miss the exam must document their reason with any of the following:
Medical Excuse from a Medical Doctor, which must state "the student was unable to attend an exam on date (date of exam must be supplied) for medical reasons". It is not necessary to document the medical condition.
Emergency: Car accidents, etc. must be documented with the date and time on an official notice. Official notices include police reports and insurance reports.
Any other reason for missing an exam must be arranged in ADVANCE of the examination. Students who miss an exam will receive a grade of F on that exam unless there are arrangements made in advance.
The Examinations will constitute 50% of the grade in the course with each weighted 25%.
